Personal Belongings

Valuables/Personal Belongings

Students are responsible for their own possessions. Valuable belongings such as iPods, cell phones, etc., are not to be brought to class without permission from the teacher and a discussion with the parents. Personal gaming devices, Pokémon cards, and other toys are not permitted at school.  The school will not assume responsibility for such items. Toys or games frequently get lost or broken and are often a distraction from learning; they need to be left at home.  There is no  need for students to bring money to school.  All fees are paid online and there is nothing for students to buy at school.

Lost & Found

Students are advised to check the school's Lost and Found (located in the office) for any items that may have been misplaced. Items that are not claimed by their owner are sent to charitable organizations on a monthly basis throughout the year.

Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards & “Heelies”

We certainly encourage active living practices with children such as riding a bicycle to school. Upon arrival at the school and for the safety of all students, cyclists are expected to walk bicycles on school grounds. When bicycles are brought to school they should be locked in the bicycle rack provided.

The school cannot be responsible for bicycles damaged or stolen while they are at school.

Skateboards, scooters, roller blades, and heelies are not to be used on school property and can be carried in to the school to be stored during the day. If heelies have retractable wheels, the shoes may be worn as typical shoes.

Personal Electronic Devices

Our school has a Digital Citizenship plan and an Acceptable Use Policy that addresses the appropriate use of electronic devices at school.
