There are quizzes at the end of most lessons, with the exception of a few chapters. There are 8 online unit exams, one for each unit covered in the course.

CBe-learn supervised Exams / general format

There are two exams written at the CBe Learn Testing Centre:  

  • Midterm exam (Units 1-4) 
  • Final exam (Units 1-8)

Each exam has MC/NR/WR style questions.

Math 20-3 (5 credits)

  • prerequisite Math 10-3

The Math 20-3 course focuses on the types of math students use in the workplace, especially if they are going to apprentice for a trade, take a college course, or enter the workplace directly after graduation from high school. Some of the chapters in the course focus on consumer and business mathematics.  Other chapters focus on using math skills that are specific to certain trades and occupations.

  • Most of the lessons have video components to help illustrate concepts that are covered in the course.

Online Quizzes / Exams

  • There are quizzes at the end of most lessons, with the exception of a few chapters where assignments will be used to assess concepts. There are unit exams for most of the units, the exceptions being when a project is assigned instead.

CBe-learn supervised Exams

  • There is a midterm and final exam for this course that must be written in the testing centre. The midterm covers units 1-3 and the final exam covers units 4-7.
