​Important Dates

We follow the CBE traditional calendar. The calendar sets common start and end days, non-instructional days and holidays. For our school’s additional non-instructional days, late entries, early dismissal days and events, see our school calendar page.​

The Calgary Board of Education continues to plan for the health measures that may be in place for the next school year. More details will be shared with families before the first day of classes.

First Day of Classes

Our first day of classes is Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Our bell times are:

Monday – Thursday 8:10 AM – 2:40 PM
Lunch 11:58 - 12:40 PM
Friday 8:10 AM – 12:10 PM

AM Kindergarten 8:10-10:55 AM
PM Kindergarten 11:55 -2:40 PM

Noon Supervision

Parents/guardians, please register or apply for your waiver for Noon Supervision online under My CBE Account.

Kindergarten

We will be contacting families in August to let you know your Entry Date and Times.

Please meet your teacher at the front door entrance. Fridays will be alternated between AM and PM classes from 8:10 – 12:10 PM.  Please see our school calendar for those dates.

School Supplies

School Supplies will be handed out by the teachers on the first day of school. Your child only needs to bring indoor runners, a snack and lunch (if they are staying).

Our school office opens on Thursday, August 26, 2020 for registration from 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

​​Do You Have a MyCBE / PowerSchool Parent Account?

Parents who have not already done so, must create an account in MyCBE / PowerSchool to:

  • Pay fees or apply for a waiver

  • Register for transportation and lunch supervision

  • View student progress

To create a new account, go to www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe and click on Create Parent Account. You will need to have your child(ren)’s CBE Student ID Number and use your email on file at the school.​

​​Fees and Waivers

School fees will be charged to families starting in October. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can use their online account to pay fees or apply for a waiver at: www.cbe.ab.ca/mycbe.

​​​Yellow School Bus Tra​nsportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2021-22 school year are created o​ver the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. Transportation continues to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.

Your bus stop location and time will be available in your MyCBE / PowerSchool account by mid-August.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE / PowerSchool. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.
