Attendance

Attendance Line: 403-777-8610 ext. 1

If your child will be absent or late, be sure to call the number above to inform the school.

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to success. We request parents' help and cooperation in verifying all absences and tardiness directly to the office or to teachers. Please do not ask siblings or friends to relay this information. If your child is ill, has a medical or dental appointment, or will be delayed in arriving at school, please call the school before 8:15 AM or before 12:30 PM and leave a message. If for some reason your child has not arrived at school and the absence has not been verified, the following steps will be taken:

  • A call will be made to your home
  • If there is no answer at home, you will be called at work
  • If we cannot locate you, we will then call the individuals listed as emergency contacts that you have provided.

Punctuality

We believe punctuality is an important component of building character We want to optimize learning time by using every minute of the day. Students that arrive even a few minutes late are disruptive to learning for all. We ask parents to ensure that students arrive on time.
