Important Fall Athletic Dates

Grade 10 – Junior tryout days are set out below. Grade 10 girls will try out for the senior girls soccer team.
Grade 11 – Volleyball athletes will attend senior tryouts on the first two days and then some athletes may
be invited to try out for the junior team.
Grade 12 – All volleyball athletes must try out for the Senior Teams.

Girls Soccer

Coach – Mr. Gray
The soccer team is open to all grades. The first tryout is Wednesday, September 4 at 7:45 AM on the field.

Athletes will not be allowed to try out if they do not return the Annual Authorization for Athletic Tryout form. Athletes should bring this signed form to the tryout. Please do not hand in the form with other school forms. The form should be delivered directly to the coaches of that specific team. If an athlete plans to try out for more than one team, please fill out a separate form for each team. You can also get a form in the PE office.

Coyote Football

It is with great excitement that we invite you to join/continue with Centennial High School’s Football Program. Centennial will have 2 football programs, Junior and Senior, start up begins on August 28. For all Senior Football players Equipment sign-out will take place from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on August 28. Junior Football players are asked to report at 3:15 p.m. to register for tryouts and testing on Wednesday, August 28. Players are asked to bring any type of cleats. Junior Football will receive equipment after their practice on the 29. In order to sign out equipment you will need to have a signed copy of the Annual Authorization for Athletic Tryout form. NO FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. We take pride in teaching the game of football to new players!

If you still have your padded girdle from last year, we ask that you use it again this year. The location for equipment sign out will be the football storage room, which is located just off of the back parking lot. Please bring a water bottle, mouth guard, and cleats (also shorts for juniors.) Practices typically run from 4:05-6:15 PM Monday to Thursday with modified practice times on Friday. If you cannot make the start of football, but intend on trying out, or have any further questions, please send an email:
