Week of September 20-24

Do you want to have a say in your Graduation experience? Are you energized to make your final year a great one?!  Grad Committee wants you! If you are in Grade 12, please come down to Room 112 on Monday, September 27 at lunch to show your interest in being a part of our Graduation 2022 Committee!

Clubs Rush – Tuesday, September 21 there will be a modified Clubs Rush day at lunch.  This is a fabulous way for students to see what we have to offer and how to get involved.

The 2021 Yearbooks Have Arrived!

There are limited numbers of books for sale for those who did not order one last year.

  •  $40 a copy - only 20 copies available
  • Purchase at the business office

Yearbook Club is starting up!  First meeting will be on Monday, September 20.

  • All interested students are invited.
  • You need not commit for the whole year, there are many ways you can contribute so come and see how you can help record and document life at Central.
  • Meet after school in room 240.

GSA meetings will be held every Thursday at lunch in room 216.

Student Vote 2021 – we will be running this on Monday, September 20 in the learning commons.  Student Vote is set up, more or less, like a real polling station and students vote on the actual candidates in this riding, Calgary Central.  The Student Vote results are compiled from across the nation and shared when the polls close.  The idea behind this simulation is to demystify the voting process and to encourage students (and their families) to become more educated and engaged in this democratic right.

Parking passes – information is on the website.  Pay for your pass through your PowerSchool fee module, then pick up an agreement from the Business Office.
