Ways to Get Connected

Communication is essential in a large community. There are many sources students can access to ensure they are well informed around what’s happening in our school:

  • Central Connection - parent newsletter
  • Student Bulletin
  • Website
  • Social Media Sites: Facebook & Twitter and Instagram
  • Email
  • Posters/Ads

Weekly announcements will inform students about important dates , announcements. clubs, athletics, scholarship opportunities, changes in the timetable, upcoming events, opportunities, and even what’s on the menu in the cafeteria that day. If you miss the announcements, information in the Student Bulletin also runs on our website: Student Bulletin

Our website also houses all kinds of other information to help keep you informed—including the school calendar.
You can also access immediate information and ask questions in real time via our Facebook page and Twitter feed @cmhsrams.

When in doubt always ask...students can also email the school at centralmemorial@cbe.ab.ca and you can be guaranteed a prompt reply and keeping in touch with your homeroom teacher will help.

Telephones

With over 1500 people in the building each day, Central Memorial is a busy place. Perhaps the busiest place of all is the switchboard so please be aware that only urgent messages will be relayed to students. The hours of the school switchboard are: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM unless otherwise specified.
