Principal's Message

Welcome to Central Memorial High School and the Career & Technology Centre!

Hello to all!  For those of you who are new to the Central Memorial/CTC family, welcome!  For those returning students and families, I look forward to seeing you all again in only a few more weeks.   As I write this message, the Covid rates continue to show strong improvement and, (dare I say it?)....here in Alberta, we sure appear to be moving towards the ‘endgame’ of this pandemic.   As such, I am VERY excited at the prospect of what awaits our students, their families and staff members in September.   We have so much to offer here at Central/CTC--- strong academic programs, our renowned Performing and Visual Arts Programs, the myriad opportunities at the Career and Technology Centre, competitive athletics teams and so many clubs and student organizations.   If all continues as the trends indicate, I am confident that we will come back to school and be presented with renewed opportunities for everyone to participate in a much more normal high school program experience!   Hopefully, what lies just around the corner are evening and weekend LIVE performances of student artists and performers, IN PERSON sports competitions, student travel and field trips and SO much more!

In the meantime,  have a wonderful summer holiday and ….see you all VERY soon!

Sincerely,

Gord Baldwin,
Principal
