Attendance

Our attendance line is 403-777-6424 ext. 1

It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent or arriving late. Report all absences to the attendance line. See more on our Attendance page.

Calls to the Office

To make student-learning time more efficient, we would like to remind parents/guardians of school protocol regarding phone calls to the office for the purpose of passing on messages to their children. Every time a parent calls to relay a message to their child, the office must contact the child and learning in the classroom is interrupted.

If your child requires instructions regarding after school arrangements, please talk to them about it before school and write a note to the teacher. We would ask that parents phone the school to pass on a message to their student only if the message is urgent and there is no other way to communicate it to them.

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director.
