Behaviour

  • I take care of myself
  • I take care of others
  • I take care of my school and community
  • I take care of my learning

At Chaparral School, the three (plus 1) Pillars of Care guide us and we partner with parents to help students develop the inner strength and independence to do the right thing at the right time for the right reasons.

The CBE is committed to providing students and staff with a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environment that respects diversity and fosters a sense of belonging. With this in mind, the CBE has created a system-wide Student Code of Conduct (Administrative Regulation 6005 - Student Code of Conduct) with input from students, parents and CBE employees. This code of conduct applies to all CBE schools, individual schools.  All CBE students are expected to abide by the system regulation, which is posted to the Administrative Regulation page .

Throughout our daily work at school we ask students to show caring and respect for self, others, the learning process and this place.
