​It is so hard to believe that we are now 6 weeks into learning!!  In some ways it feels like we just got started and in other ways, I find it hard to believe that it is already mid-October.  I can say that we are settling in, actually we are settled, and there are fabulous things happening in all of our learning spaces.
We are super excited that our classes who were accepted to Open Minds programs will start their week long learning times in just over a week.  I can't wait to hear all about it.
Last Thursday, we held our School Council AGM and welcomed a new executive.  Our School Council is such a valued part of our school community and we are escited to continue this important connection for the benefit of everyone at our school.
In just over a month, we will have our first set of Parent Teacher Conferences.  This time is so important for the learning of all of our students.  The School/Home together phiosophy is integral to student success.  We learn even more about our students when we have these opportunities to work with you.
