The school does not provide microwaves for students to heat up lunches, or hot water for soups. Please do not send your child with soup cups or with lunches that require heating.
Lunch Supervision
The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Lunch Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6 and in our full-day kindergarten programs for an annual fee.
If your child(ren) will be staying at the school for lunch, you must register them for lunch supervision online using your MyCBE / PowerSchool account. We encourage you to pay this fee as soon as possible. For more information, visit our Lunch Supervision page.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Mrs. Naidu, Lead Lunch Program Supervisor, at 403-777-6700 between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
Drop-in tickets for the Lunch Program can be purchased at the office. The price is $5 per ticket.
Fun Lunches Organized by School Council
School Council has starting a new monthly fundraising initiative – Fun Lunch! Your participation will help pay for student’s activities within in the school. Fun lunches may be ordering in advance in Healthy Hunger. Healthy Hunger is an online ordering system connecting schools with local restaurants.
The school coordinator(s) will choose from a list of local restaurants, create a desired menu, and send a message to parents and guardians to order lunches for their child(ren). The order goes right to the restaurants, and payment collection is all done within the site.
To order, see the Healthy Hunger Parents Step-by-Step Ordering Information.
If you have any questions regarding the fun lunch please contact School Council.
Fun lunch dates will be posted in our calendar.
