Book Battle Club

Book Battle is a Division 1 club (Grades 1-3) that meets on Monday and Wednesday at lunch.  Students are introduced to 4 children’s book authors, learning a bit about them.  Two books written by each the authors have been chosen to battle.  Both books are read and students vote which book is better and explain why.  In the end, we will see which book is the best out of all 8 books.

We have read Green Eggs and Ham and Fox in Socks by Dr. Seuss, Up and Down and Stuck by Oliver Jeffers, The Pigeon Needs a Bath and I like Slop by Mo Willems, and Mortimer and Mud Puddle by Robert Munsch.

Which book do you think is the ultimate best children’s book?
