Ways to Get Connected

Communication

Email

The majority of communications from CJM will be through our website and email. Please ensure that your contact information is current with our school and that you have subscribed to school messages. You can subscibe here.

If you are not receiving email communications from the school, please contact the office directly and we can work with you to figure out the reason and the solution. Call 403-777-6700 or email chiefjusticemilvain@cbe.ab.ca.

CJM News

The CJM News will be sent out monthly throughout the school year. Information from the CJM News will be posted to our website and the calendar will be kept current.

Periodically, it is also necessary for us to send other information or notices to parents that are printed on paper. Please check your child's backpack for paper notices on a regular basis so you receive such information.

Google Classroom

CJM homeroom teachers use Google Classroom for maintaining on-going, weekly communication with parents. We encourage parents to take advantage of this opportunity to stay informed of matters that pertain to your child.

PowerSchool

PowerSchool is the new student information system used by the CBE. Through PowerSchool parents can:

  • View academic information (schedule, grades and attendance)
  • View learning activitles using Brightspace by D2L
