How to Register for the TLC Program

Update February 5, 2021Please note that the TLC Application Period ends at 12pm (noon), Tuesday, February 9, 2021. We can accept applications after this date but they will not be included in the lottery draw. This means that all late applications will be placed at the end of the waiting list.

Chief Justice Milvain will continue to offer the TLC program in 2021 - 2022 for Kindergarten to Grade Five students living in the communities of Whitehorn, Coral Springs and Taradale only. If you live outside of these communities please visit the CBE's find a school webpage to locate the school your child will be designated to for the TLC program.

Please note that there will not be an information night this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. As outlined below, families will need to review all available information to ensure they are informed about the TLC program.

TLC Applications

  • All applications must be completed and submitted by a legal guardian.
  • You must review the TLC Program for 2020-21 school year document located as an attachment on this webpage (under the resources heading).
  • You must read and understand the information regarding the TLC program found on the CBE Website.
  • Understand that this is a lottery process. It is not a "first come, first served" process.

What School is Next and Transferring Between CBE Schools

Every CBE student has a designated school based on their home address. When you transition from elementary to middle school, or from middle school to high school, you will be automatically registered at your designated school according to your home address. To find your designated school, use our Find a School tool.

If you are interested in attending a school other than your designated school, visit the Transferring Between CBE Schools webpage for transfer information. Please note that some schools are quite full and not able to accept all transfer requests.

Every year many CBE schools participate in a Terry Fox Run. In 2020, our schools raised an incredible $163,886.64 for cancer research. Thank you to all of our students, staff and school communities who have kept Terry’s dream alive 40 years after his journey began! #WeAreCBE https://t.co/di9w1dX7DI

RT @UsihChristopher: We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to make this learning shift for next week. While it is yet another significant change, we hope that it will serve to reduce the current learning disruptions that are continuing to occur in our schools. https://t.co/FOfXcybh91
