Summer Holidays 

Children's Village School will be closed for summer holidays from Wednesday, July 1 - Wednesday, August 26. You will be able to reach staff through the Main Office beginning at 8:00 am on Thursday, August 27.


It is important that you call the school if your child is going to be absent or arriving late. Please report all absences to the Attendance Line at 403-777-6114 ext. 1. See more on our Attendance page.

Contacting the Classroom Team 

As it is important that staff be available to support students during instructional time, classroom team members will not be available to answer phone calls or emails during instructional hours. Members of your student’s classroom team can generally be reached during the following times, unless they are in a meeting or training:

Monday – Thursday

8:00 AM – 8:45 AM
3:20 PM – 4:00 PM


8:00 AM – 8:45 AM
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.​​

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints​ page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director. ​​​​
