Personal Belongings

Labeling 

Students are discouraged from bringing any toys or valuable items to school. Please ensure that all personal belongings brought to school are clearly labeled with your child's first and last name – especially lunch boxes, backpacks, water bottles, shoes and jackets.

Bicycles

Students are encouraged to ride their bicycles, scooters, etc. to school. Please walk or carry them on school grounds and lock them in the racks provided. The school is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.

Water Bottles

Students are asked to bring a reusable water bottle to school every day. Drinking fresh water throughout the day supports learning by improving focus and attention.

Indoor Shoes

Students must have an appropriate pair of indoor shoes at all times. They should be non-marking and suitable for fully participating in Physical Education classes. Properly fitted running shoes are ideal.

Lost & Found

A bin is located in girls’ shelter are encouraged to check it regularly for lost items. Parents are also asked to take a look whenever they are in the building. Prior to the winter/spring break and at the end of the year, all remaining items will be recycled, discarded or donated to a charitable organization.

Telephones & Cell Phones

Telephones are used for conducting daily school business and responding to emergencies as they may arise. If a parent needs to be contacted, a staff member will do so for your child. Student cell phones are expected to be kept in their backpacks and shut off during the school day except for learning purposes.
