• Students are supervised while eating their lunches in the classrooms. 
• Nutrition is important for student learning. Parents are asked to send healthy and balanced lunches with their children. 
• To decrease the possibility of burns / accidents, there are no microwaves available for student use. 
• Supervisors do have thermal containers of hot water.

Lunch Supervision

The Calgary Board of Education provides students with the option to stay at school for lunch. Lunch Supervision is offered to all students in Grades 1- 6 and in our full-day kindergarten programs for an annual fee. Please visit our Lunch Supervision page for more information.

Fun Lunches

Approximately once every month, our School Council organizes a Fun Lunch. These are advertised on our school calendar including the online ordering dates. Parents may establish an account with Healthy Hunger and place their orders online. 

Allergies

Additionally, we have children at our school who are allergic to nuts and related nut products, we strive to be a Nut-Free School. Parents must indicate any special health concerns on the school registration for their child and are encouraged to ensure classroom teachers are also aware of health issues.
