Mar./Apr. 2019
Greetings from Room 127! I can’t believe it is already March. We have almost made it through the winter and our classroom can’t wait to get back outside again. In January, we welcomed a new student to our classroom. All the students and our staff spent some time getting to know him, and we are happy to say that he has been a wonderful addition to our classroom. In our classroom, we are continuing to work on our core words through books, and play. We started out our year by working on the words GO and STOP, and are currently working on MORE and FINISHED, not only using sign language but also using picture symbols. Our classroom continues to enjoy working on our novel studies. We are continuing to work on the book Wild Robot right now. The students are really enjoying learning about survival techniques through the book! We can’t wait to start our academic unit on color in March! Hopefully we can get outside soon!
Dec. 2018
Hello from Room 127! It’s hard to believe that it is already December! We have been working so hard in our classroom and have been participating in lots of fun activities. While our main focus has been on developing our core word vocabularies, we have also studied bugs, and are just finishing our chemistry unit. I can’t wait to continue to explore and learn with the students in the New Year!

Every Wednesday and Friday we hold community lessons where we study core vocabulary with one of the green wing classrooms
