School Property

Damage of Property

The CBE may require the parent or guardian of any student to replace or pay for any school property destroyed, broken or damaged by such student, and may suspend such a student or lay charges. This would include damage to the building, school grounds, windows, equipment, textbooks and computers.

We take great pride in keeping a tidy school; both inside and out. We ask all our students to be good citizens by putting garbage and recycling where it belongs, and helping to keep our classrooms and school grounds clean.

Textbooks

Textbooks are on loan to students. Books lost or damaged will be paid for by the student according to the CBE’s table of value.

Restricted Activities

  • Skateboarding, longboarding and throwing snowballs are not permitted on school property
  • Smoking, the use of tobacco products or substitutes inside the school or on school property is prohibited
