Highlighting our
Marvelous Students
As a staff, we believe that each of our students contributes in their own way to our learning community. We therefore highlight students in a variety of ways including:
- Recognizing students as Character Captains who demonstrate the various virtues at various learning celebrations throughout the school year
- Celebrating each student as a “Student of the Week” in individual classes and on the” Student of the Week” Board
- Bulletin boards of pictures and student work in the hall
- Character cards for extracurricular clubs
- Classroom leader from each class to represent classrooms and provide communication and leadership
- Use of TV in hallway to highlight kids’ work/ talents/ interest /participation
- Daily announcements
- Announcing each child's birthday
- French plays
- Drama presentations
- Music celebrations
- Student-involved Parent/Teacher Conferences
