The CBE's Approach to Community Engagement

Dialogue is the Calgary Board of Education’s approach to community engagement. It is a mutually respectful exchange of ideas that acknowledges and celebrates the diversity within the CBE community. It represents our ongoing commitment to involve people in decisions that affect them.

We know we make better decisions when we listen and work together to solve problems and find solutions. When we do, our students are better equipped to become successful citizens who contribute their ideas, passion and energy to society.

There can be no dialogue without you. Find out more about Dialogue as well as current and past system engagement initiatives on the CBE’s website.

Community Engagement

During the School Council Meeting on February 7, 2022 at 6:30pm Colonel Sanders School will be sharing the PowerPoint presentation on the right entitled:  Colonel Sanders School SDP Budget Fees Presentation 2022-23 Engagement. There are two survey links within this presentation. The first is for families who attend the presentation (it is feedback about the presentation, not the content). The second survey is open to all families, this survey is about our School Development Plan, as well as the Budget and Fees. If you did not attend the School Council Meeting on February 7, 2022, please review the PowerPoint prior to completing the survey.
