There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. For more information on ways to give to CBE, visit Donate on the CBE website.

Scholastic Virtual Book Fair - MAY 10-20, 2022

The Virtual Book Fair is a fantastic way to continue to give our students access to the books they want to read. We’re excited that you will be able to shop together, selecting the books that inspire your readers, from the comfort of home. All purchases benefit our school and earn Rewards that can be redeemed for books for our school library at Colonel Sanders School. All books will be delivered to the school within one week of the sale. They will be sent home with your child. When it’s time to shop, visit our school’s Virtual Book Fair site using this link: https://virtualbookfairs.schol...

** PLEASE fill in your child’s name on the order rather than the parent name if possible, as it makes it time-consuming and confusing when distributing to students if the order is labelled under the parent name.

** Before our Fair begins, click the link to:

• SAVE it to your browser

• WATCH videos of popular new titles

• PREVIEW our Featured Books Watch for news leading up to our Scholastic Virtual Book Fair!

Happy reading!

Mayor's Food Drive 2021

We will continue our tradition of supporting the Calgary Food Bank through the Mayor's Food Drive. This year there is an addition to this fundraiser - Loonies for Lunches! Along with collecting non-perishable food items we will also be collecting cash donations to support students who require support through the Weekends and More Program which provides students and families backpacks with nutritious food for the weekend.

November 29, 2021-December 10, 2021 - Classes will participate in the Mayor's Food Drive.

The class, per grade level, which collects the most non-perishable food items and cash donations will select a day (between December 11 and 16) for a grade level spirit day of their choice!
