Classes & Departments

For classroom updates,  please  have your child log into their Google Classroom.

Colonel Sanders teachers will be using Google Classroom as their online platform. It enables teachers to communicate with their students as well as assign and distribute assignments and work in a safe, manageable, and an appropriate way.  Online classrooms are designed to celebrate student learning and promote effective communication between school and home.  Please check your child's Google Classroom to find information about upcoming learning.  If a student is away they can login into Google Classroom to complete assignments from home.

Students have been added in the ‘classroom’ using their CBE Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals (formerly known as G Suite for Education) ID: Students should have brought home their password to share with parents. Please login and take a look at your child’s Google Classroom. If you are unable to login please contact your child’s teacher for assistance.

What is my child learning at school?

Families always wonder what their child is learning at school. Alberta Education has a wonderful parent resource that you can access by clicking on the link to the right. The link will take you to a page where you can access your child's grade level, then click on the subjects you are interested in learning more about!

There are two additional resources one which explains what numeracy is and the second contains numeracy progressions across the grade levels (division one is grades 1-3, division two is grades 4-6).
