Principal's Message

Time to Get Outside!

We know many of you have been stuck indoors since March.  With Calgary slowly opening up, we would encourage you to get outside for some fresh air. Calgary has opened some roads to allow more space for social distancing.  Consider going for a walk early or late when it is less busy.
Enjoy the next video in our "Staying Connected Collection": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0zmp7pus7c&feature=youtu.be where staff are sharing ways they are getting some fresh air while staying safe and social distancing. A huge thank you to our resident video editor, Ms. Corinne, for creating another beautiful video.
Ever Active Schools is supporting literacy on the move this spring with a "Trail Tales" project at Connaught School. Come for a walk on the sidewalk outside the school fences and you'll see the pages of the story "As Big as the Sky, as Tall as the Trees" written by Leah Yardley spread out for you to read as you stroll. The story will be put up this Thursday, June 4. The pages will be well spread out along the fence, there will be space to take it in safely with your families.
Please reach out to us if we can support your family in anyway during these unique times.  We are here to help. You can contact us by email or by phone between 8:00 and 2:30.
Enjoy some fresh air and stay safe,
Nicole Bezugley
