Student Recognition

Honour Role

Students who were awarded honours in 2018-2019 will have an email sent home this fall congratulating them on their accomplishments. We are excited to have a home in the Student Center where we will post this academic achievement as a new way of recognizing this superior acquirement.

Students who receive three-year honours will be invited to an evening celebration where they will be acknowledged in a formal ceremony and receive a three-year honours certificate.

Honour Society

Students who have achieved and maintained honours standing in each of their three years at Crescent, according to the criteria established by the school, will become members of the Honours Society.

Service/Citizenship Awards

Within the area of student activities, Crescent has two separate awards recognizing students who have participated in one or more activities/clubs. Service Awards are presented to students who have made an extraordinary contribution in one area.

Students receiving Citizenship Awards have made an outstanding contribution to clubs/activities and their involvement has had an impact on the whole school directly or indirectly. Students or teachers may make nominations for both awards. These students are then honoured at a ceremony in June of the year of nomination.

This morning, CHHS staff participated in a smudge led by our very own Ms Laplante and her daughter. We reflected on and celebrated the outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. #NationalIndigenousPeoplesDay @Indigenous_cbe #WeAreCBE #CrescentStrong https://t.co/taV7cScUwc
