Fees will be charged to your MyCBE account starting in October.

Annual system fees are set each year when the operating budget is passed by the Board of Trustees. To keep fees as low as possible, the CBE is committed to being as efficient as possible in the provision of services. Costs of providing the services include direct labour and supplies, as well as the cost of fee waivers and uncollectible accounts.

It is important to know that we have a waiver process for families who cannot afford to pay the fees.

School-based and course specific fees may be charged by our school throughout the  year. You can find a complete list of the approved fees for your school on our Find My School Fees page.

Visit the CBE website for more information on fees and waivers.

Fees

Security Deposit

Security Deposit (Refundable) guarantees the cost of lost and damaged instructional supplies and materials. If books and other instructional resources loaned to students for use in the school year are returned in satisfactory condition, the Security Deposit will be refunded. Schools have no obligation to provide the goods or services associated with optional fees unless paid for.

 Activity / Program Fees

These are user fees that charged to students to cover the cost of the activity or program. Parents/guardians will be notified by the teachers any additional costs for courses such as Band, Art, Construction Technology, Fashion Studies, Food Studies, Physical Education, etc.  Costs will vary depending on materials required.

Graduation Fee

Graduation Fee is applicable to Grade 12 students only. This fee includes a Crescent Height High School Graduation Certificate, costs for rental and insurance for the ceremony, gown rental and maintenance, program printing, announcements and invitations.  The fee must be paid in order to access the website to purchase banquet and closing ceremony tickets. The Yearbook is an optional purchase (see merchandise page for more information).  Orders are placed early in the year, so if students wish to obtain one the payment is required when school fees are paid.
