Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Parking & Drop-Off

Student Parking

Student parking is very limited at Crescent Heights, is by parking pass only, and is restricted to the Northwest parking lot. It does not include either the Community Centre parking or that associated with the Curling Club. Parking passes will be distributed to students through a lottery system. All students making application for a parking pass must present a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s license and have paid all of their school fees. Parking in the Northwest parking lot without a parking pass is not permitted and will result in vehicles being ticketed and/or towed. Students must be sure not to block the fire lanes, which are clearly signed. Students must comply with the regulations that are set out in the Student Parking Application. Failure to comply with these regulations will result in the parking pass being revoked.  [ read more ].

Staff Parking

Staff have assigned parking in the following three areas; the SE and SW parking lots, and along the North wall of the school on 11 Avenue. Students are asked to refrain from parking in these Staff parking areas. Parking in staff parking will result in vehicles being ticketed and/or towed.
