Forensic Science

Forensic  Science  is  the  basic  application  of  scientific  concepts principles in the pursuit of solving crime. In this course, students learn about many different types of forensic evidence, how to collect this evidence using various techniques and how this evidence is analyzed. Case studies will be used to demonstrate to students how what they are learning in this course is being applied in real life scenarios. Students will participate in a variety of labs to put their knowledge to practical use. Forensic Science has its roots in basic science and as such, each forensic technique requires an understanding of one of the core science, Biology, Chemistry or Physics
