Deadline to purchase a yearbook is May 10. It is an optional purchase and can be paid for through your MyCBE account.

Alien Inline is coming up! Please see the schedule on your child's classroom blog to see when our class will be participating. Students can bring their own equipment on those days if they choose. All protective gear must be worn. Please ensure that the permission form is returned and that the fee is paid online through your MyCBE account.

Class photos will be taken May 10. Each student will receive a complimentary copy of the photo.

One of our classes needs plastic bottle caps (screw on) for a science unit. If you have any that you can donate, please send to school with your child to go to the office.

The Grades 4 & 5 students will begin instruction in Health with topics related to Human Sexuality starting May 24. Please see this letter for further information. A parent information session will be held virtually on May 10 at 6pm through this link. Teachers will go through the content to be covered as well as answer any questions. While the session is optional, we strongly encourage you to attend to gain a better perspective of the content that will be taught as well as how you can support your child at home. Should you choose to exempt your child, please print off page 3 of the letter and return to school by May 19, 2022 so that teachers can effectively plan for instruction. Please note that the form only needs to be returned should you choose to exempt your child.

A reminder that neither heelies (shoes with wheels in them) nor cleats, should be brought or worn to school. Students with this type of footwear will be asked to change.

Upcoming fun lunch dates: Mucho Burrito on May 11 (deadline to order May 6), Fat Burger May 17 (deadline May 12). Please remember to email dalhousieschoolparentsociety@gmail.com before 11:00am the day of fun lunch if your child will be absent to arrange pick up or donation.

We need volunteers for fun lunch! If you are unsure if your volunteer clearance is up to date, send an email to dalhousieschoolparentsociety@gmail.com to confirm if you have clearance. Please sign up on SignUp Genius if you would like to volunteer and have received your clearance check.
