Lockers

In order for students to have a safe place to store their belongings during the school day, individual lockers and locks are provided to every student. Lockers are the property of the school and are on loan to the student.

Students:

  • should not leave items of value in their lockers
  • are responsible for the proper care of the locker
  • should not to give their lock combination to anyone else
  • are responsible to keep his/her locker clean
  • will remove all contents when requested to do so
  • will be held responsible for damages to the locker

In the event that school safety and security is a concern administration has the right to complete searches of student lockers and student property.

Students are expected to go to their lockers to retrieve their materials during the following times:

- before the start of the school day

- during nutrition break

- before afternoon classes

Otherwise, students are not to be at their lockers except as maybe required for PE class.

Hallway locker changes require office approval. The student is responsible for replacing any lost / stolen locks. The replacement cost is $5.00. A new lock will not be issued until the replacement fee has been paid. Students are not permitted to supply their own locks.

Physical Education Locks

Clothing should be stored in the PE locker provided. Valuables should not be brought to school but if students have them they should be left in hall lockers and not brought into the locker rooms. If you have small items they should be kept in a bag or a box as the PE lockers have small gaps where items may fall through. Misplaced locks are the responsibility of the students. A $5.00 fee will be collected for a lost lock. Students will not be reassigned a lock until the fee is collected. PE lockers are not to be shared by students and only locks issued from the P.E. department may be used on P.E. lockers.
