Traffic Safety

Ensuring our students get to school safely is everyone’s responsibility. Please be mindful of crosswalks, parking rules and speed limits when you are near our schools, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal times.

Parking & Drop-Off

Morning drop-off / Bus Arrivals

We kindly ask that when dropping off your student(s) in the morning, that you not stop in the bus zone between 7:40am and 8:00am. This is when our 9 school buses arrive and it makes for a very busy area if vehicles are blocking their arrival and departure. Please use the rest of Arbour Crescent to drop off your students in the morning. Also, please be aware that parents are not permitted to park in the staff parking lot as we often have CBE vehicles and school buses that need to navigate in and out.

Thank you!

Supervision of Students

Please note unless otherwise specified, formal supervision of students does not begin until 7:45 AM and ends at 2:45 PM. On Fridays, formal supervision starts at 7:45 AM and ends at 12:15 PM. Students are expected to leave the building and school grounds promptly at the end of the day unless they are in supervised activities. Students who occasionally need to be dropped off before 7:45 AM and who are not in a supervised activity need to be on their best behavior or the privilege of arriving early will be removed.
