Medical Conditions

Please inform the school if your child has any medical condition and/or requires medications while at school. If a child needs any prescriptions dispensed at school there must be a doctor’s signed Student Health Plan form on file at the school. You can pick up this form at the school office or on the CBE Forms You Need page.

School Nurse

The focus of our community health nurse is immunization, audio and vision screening. Other duties include counselling on request and teaching programs.

Our school nurse can be contacted at the Calgary Health Region, South District Office, phone 403-943-9100, or through Deer Run School.

Allergies

Deer Run School is a nut aware school. We ask that no nuts or nut butter be brought into the school or on field trips. Teachers will make you aware of specific food allergies in your child’s class if you are supplying any snacks or treats.

Thank you for your cooperation.
