Robotics Club

Who? – Any students from any grade that are interested in developing their STEM skills by building a robot or supporting its construction in various ways.

When? – Regular meetings Tuesdays after school, usually from 3:30-5:00 pm. However, additional (and longer) meetings are held during the build season starting in January. There is also a weekend in April when we typically attend competition.

Where? – Room 155

What? – Building and competing with a 120-ish lb robot and supporting its construction. Programming, wiring systems, mechanics, computer-assisted design (CAD), physics, fundraising, poster and flyer design, presenting to businesses, leadership opportunities, wood construction, and more!

Why? – To get real-life, hands-on experience creating a complicated machine with students with similar interests. To compete in an international competition against teams from all over the world. To have some fun while doing it.
