Blue Days
On days of severe weather (cold or rain), special provisions will be put in place for children’s safety and comfort. We call these Blue Days. A Blue Day is declared when winter temperatures reach a temperature of -20°C and below (including the wind chill factor) or if it is raining heavily.
Children may enter either through the Northeast Door or through the designated entry door.
Students in K - 6 who enter the school on a Blue Day should remove their outer footwear and go to the hallway outside their classroom, where they will be supervised.
