There are many ways you can contribute to our school’s success, and make a difference for our school and our students. In our school, this can include providing in-kind donations, contributing cash and lending expertise and technical knowledge. Connect with our principal on what may be appropriate. For more information on ways to give to CBE, visit Donate on the CBE website.

Fill Your Freezer Coco Brooks Playground Fundraiser!

Is anyone else tired of cooking every day? We have joined forces with local company Coco Brooks on our Fill Your Freezer Playground Fundraiser. Now through February 18 place your order through our fundraiser and you will help support building our new playground. Our goal is to raise $1200. You will find a large variety of ready to bake pizzas, cookie dough, ready-to-heat meals and variety packs available. Orders will be available to pick from the school on Thursday, March 4 from 3:00-6:00pm (times are firm - we are not able to store orders overnight). Click here and sign up as a ‘seller’ to place your order.

Skip The Depot

Do you have bottles, cans and other recyclables taking up space in your garage?  You can have Skip the Depot come and pick up from your house.  In turn your recycling donation will go to support and enhance student learning at Dr. Freda Miller School.  Click here to go to the link to schedule a pickup.

Pink Shirt Day Orders

A huge thank you to everyone who was able to participate in our Pink Shirt Day Fundraiser. We were able to raise $1000 towards the build of our new playground! We should be receiving our order by February 17. Raising funds for a playground is a big undertaking and we are so thankful for the support from the school community. We look forward to seeing everyone supporting inclusion and anti-bullying on Pink Shirt Day, February 24!

RT @DFMSPeterson: We had a great time with week designing, building, and sharing our magnetic toys. Today we calculated how much our toy cost by adding up each of our materials. After figuring out the cost, we shared our toys with each other. We were pretty excited to show off our work!

RT @DFMSLivingstone: Sometimes teachers can’t resist jumping into a story either. Thanks for playing with us today @DFMSHandelsman ! #drfredamillerschool #wearecbe

RT @DFMSJensen: Symmetrical art in grade 4. Can you see the letters?🎨 #drfredamillerschool #wearecbe

RT @dfmsSMITH: These days are a bit slippery but that means we can build cool structures from the ice sheets! Check out this ice bridge made my some kiddos in 3B! #wearecbe #drfredamillerschool

RT @DFMSPeterson: We have been working on graphing in math. This week students chose the their own question, collected the data and then graphed the results. Next, we worked on a tricky math problem trying to use clues to figure out the data and then graph it.
