Music

At Dr. George Stanley School students in grade 5 have the choice to join a general music option. From grade 6 to 9 students have the option to be in band and learn how to play an instrument of their choosing. Each band works hard to learn notes, rhythms, and other musical elements in order to play a variety of pieces.  In music/band students learn how to work together, how to listen to others, and how to persevere when faced with challenges.
