Illness & Medical

Accident or Illness

If a student becomes ill and/or is injured at school, she/he should notify a teacher and in turn report to the office. If the illness or injury appears to be serious, a parent/guardian will be notified by school personnel and will be requested to come and take the student home or for a medical examination. It is essential that the office be contacted when a student is ill – students are not to remain in a washroom or anywhere else without notifying the office.

The school cannot accept the responsibility for the administration of medication to students. Parents should contact the school for procedures and we will do our best to assist the student.
