• We are a Traditional Learning Centre (TLC) school
• Our French program (starting in Gr. 1) focuses on developing foundational French vocabulary through listening, speaking, reading and writing
• Our music program focuses on the development of Orff developmental music approach 
• Our physical education program focuses on helping the students develop skills and attitudes that will help them maintain healthy and active lifestyles now and in their future. 
• Technology is infused into daily learning activities

• We have an active School Council and a Program Enhancement Society who support learning and social activities through volunteer programs and fundraising programs. The funds provide such things as technology and library resources, curriculum support materials, physical education equipment, residencies and presentations.
• Our students with special education needs are supported in classrooms through universal and targeted approaches by the teachers and Education Assistants
• Our ESL students are supported in English Language acquisition and development through classroom based learning supports and ELL Assistants 
• School-wide character education with daily character circles and curriculum wide reference to the virtues
