About Us

Dr. Martha Cohen School opened its doors on March 13, 2017 to serve the communities of New Brighton and Copperfield.

We are the Chimeras - Our mantra is Courage, Perseverance and Wisdom. We believe that all children can learn and that it is our role to find ways to ensure their success.

We believe education is a shared responsibility and that home and school must work together in order for children to be successful. Our commitment is to our students and their families. We we will always try to do our best when it comes to the development of your children.

The CBE is the largest school district in Western Canada. Our mission is to ensure each student, in keeping with his or her individual abilities and gifts, completes high school with a foundation of learning necessary to thrive in life, work and continued learning.
