Assigned Teachers

Your child’s homeroom teacher will contact you and your student before the first day of school to introduce themselves, and let families know where their students will be meeting on the first day of class.

Registration Information

Please visit our How to Register page for all registration details and registration forms.

Please note that Dr. Martha Cohen is a capped school which means we may not have space in the building for your child. Please contact the school directly with inquiries around registering. For students that are not admitted to Dr. Martha Cohen there are designated over-flow schools that have busing from Copperfield and New Brighton. Students living in New Brighton will be directed to Mountain Park School and students residing in Copperfield will be directed to Dr. George Stanley School.

Yellow School Bus Transportation

Yellow school bus routes for the 2022-23 school year are created over the summer and based on the addresses submitted before the pre-registration deadline in June. Transportation continues to accept registrations after the deadline; however, students are added to the closest existing stop with available space. Processing times could be up to six weeks at the beginning of the school year due to volume.

More information about 2022-23 transportation service levels and proposed fees are posted on the CBE website.

Your bus stop location and time will be available in your MyCBE account by mid-August.

Conditional riders can also register using MyCBE. Applications will be considered after eligible riders registrations have been processed.

Learn more about transportation on the CBE website.
