Messages & Items for Students

To promote student independence and to minimize interruptions to classroom activities:

  • Drop-off items for students in the office. The office staff will then contact the classroom to have the student come and pick the item up.
  • Make after-school arrangements and play dates before students have left for school in the morning. The Student Agenda Book may be used to record reminders for students and/or to inform the classroom teacher of arrangements.
  • Urgent messages for students should be given to the office staff to relay.

Contact Information Updates

Please notify the school office immediately with any changes of address, telephone numbers (home, business and/or cell), email address or emergency contact numbers. It is critical that we have a current record of contact information on file so we can reach you or other emergency contacts. Please also be sure to provide us with a current copy of any custody agreements.

Concerns & Complaints

We know that the success of your student is dependent on a strong partnership between families and the CBE. If you have a concern, it can usually be addressed at the classroom level. Your first step is to arrange to speak privately with your child’s teacher. If you feel your issue is still unresolved, please contact your principal. If you and the school are unable to find a resolution, please see our Concerns & Complaints page for additional information, including the process to contact your Area Director.
