Learning Commons / Library

Learning Commons Book Drive

Are your shelves full of children’s books? Are you Spring Cleaning? Our school is working on redesigning our Learning and Commons AND adding books to our current collection. We will be purchasing NEW books, however, we would like to see what “hidden gems” are in the community before we purchase books that could be donated. If you have GENTLY used current picture books, chapter books (up to a Grade 6 reading level) OR non-fiction books, please drop them off in the Learning Commons.

Our Learning Commons

The school learning commons is essential in assisting students to be lifelong learners. We provide a warm, inviting place where students can interact with different forms of literature, text, digital media and pursue individual interests.

Students will have ongoing opportunities to use the learning commons. We encourage students to take materials home and share with family members on a regular basis.

Borrowing Materials

The loan period is two weeks, at which time materials should be returned or renewed. Students are responsible for materials they sign out. If they are lost or damaged, the family will be billed via email for the item.
