Students who bring personal items to school are responsible for looking after them. The school cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items. Please ensure that all items have names on them for identification. Toys and devices are the student's responsibility. They must be stored in backpacks and not brought into the classroom without permission. Inappropriate toys (e.g. toy guns, knives or swords) should not to be brought to school.

Cell Phones

In order to provide for the safety and security of each student, and to control access to your child during school hours, cell phone use by students is not permitted in the school during school hours. Students who violate this rule will have their cell phones confiscated. The exception to this policy will be teacher-supervised use for instructional purposes.

Bikes and Other Equipment

Bicycles must be stored and locked immediately upon arrival in the racks provided. Bicycles are not to be ridden on school grounds. The school is not responsible for damaged or stolen bikes. For everyone's safety, skateboards, bikes, scooters and rollerblades must not be used on CBE property.

Lost and Found

Please encourage your child(ren) to check for missing items on a regular basis. Items such as money, watches or jewelry are kept in the office. Unclaimed articles will be forwarded to charity at the end of each reporting period. Please ensure that all articles of clothing are labeled with your child’s name and the school name. Please feel free to peruse our lost and found, but please check in at the office upon arrival.
