Amy's Class

June 2021

Oh my - we cannot believe it is the last month of school before summer break! It has been a wonderful school year getting to see our students grow and learn each in their own way. We cannot express the gratitude we have for all our parents who supported us this year! We look forward to enjoying the last few weeks with beautiful weather and being outside as much as possible! Have a wonderful summer break!

April 2021

SPRING IS HERE!! We are so excited to learn all about bugs and butterflies! We will continue to look at different habitats that bugs have outside, if they have wings or not, and the life cycle of the butterfly. We can't wait to see all the bugs outside while we enjoy the beautiful weather! I hope everyone had a restful and safe Spring Break.

February 2021

What a busy 2021 we are having so far. We had so much fun learning all about snow, but we are excited to start on our next topic: Feelings! For the month of February, we are going to be learning about different feelings and how they affect us. We will focus on feelings such as, love, kindness, empathy, sadness, and frustration. We look forward to art being about these feelings as well as the colours pink and red! Happy Valentine's Day!

January 2021

Wow! I cannot believe 2020 is finally over and we are welcoming another new year! Hopefully 2021 will be full of fun, laughter, and great memories! December went by so fast with all the excitement and activities planned. Our students loved sledding outside during our winter carnival and the lights in our Winter Wonderland walk through.

We are looking forward to learning outside in January as we focus on all things snow! We will be looking at snowflakes, snowmen, and how cold snow is! We have swim times scheduled on Mondays and Thursdays. We were able to get in a couple of times before the Winter Break and the students absolutely loved it! Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season.

September 2020

We would like to welcome our students back to school this year! We have 5 new students in our class and 2 returning! We have been busy in September trying to get as much outside time in before the weather gets too cold. We are looking forward to spending more time outside this fall, collecting leaves and doing some fall colour art! We will be getting going on more communication work using different methods, and the core board from Project Core. I hope everyone enjoyed a safe and happy Thanksgiving, and some time together.
