Notice Regarding Changes at Tuscany Community Schools

Due to continued enrolment growth in Calgary, there is a need to balance enrolment between Eric Harvie, Tuscany, and Twelve Mile Coulee Schools. Effective for the 2024-25 school year, Eric Harvie School will expand from a kindergarten to a Grade 4 configuration to a kindergarten to a Grade 5 configuration. Please see the full notice for more information.

Notice Regarding School Designation Changes for the Haskayne Community

The Calgary Board of Education (CBE) would like to inform you of our work to balance enrolment at schools in northwest Calgary. We will implement new school designations for students from the Haskayne community (Rockland Park) starting Sept. 2023.

Current kindergarten to Grade 3 students attending Citadel Park School who live in the Haskayne (Rockland Park) community will be designated from Citadel Park School to Eric Harvie School for the 2023-24 school year. Current Grade 5 to 8 students from the Haskayne (Rockland Park) community will be designated from Arbour Lake School to Twelve Mile Coulee School for the 2023-24 school year. This change will allow students living in the Haskayne (Rockland Park) community to attend school closer to home.

See the notice for more information.

What School is Next and Transferring Between CBE Schools

Every CBE student has a designated school based on their home address. When you transition from elementary to middle school, or from middle school to high school, you will be automatically registered at your designated school according to your home address. To find your designated school, use our Find a School tool.

If you are interested in attending a school other than your designated school, visit the Transfers webpage for transfer information. Please note that some schools are quite full and not able to accept all transfer requests.
