No Dogs on School Property

We would like to remind our community of the City of Calgary Bylaw 23M2006-Responsible Pet Ownership, dogs are not allowed on CBE property. This regulation is in place for two reasons:

  • No Dogs on School Property Most importantly, some children are fearful of dogs and should not have to face that fear every day.
  • Children play on the property and dogs, through no fault of their own can create unsanitary conditions.

The restricted area for dogs includes the entire playing field, the grassed areas on school property and all sidewalks that lead to school entrances. We appreciate your consideration.
