Social Studies students will find 2 sections of the library most useful

  • Topics related to the social sciences are in the 300’s 
  • Topics related to History and Geography will be in the 900’s

The Online Resource Center has credible academic resources specifically to support Alberta curriculum and students. Try Canada in Context, Global Issues in Context, Grolier Online Passport, World Book Advanced, and World History in Context. AP students should try in addition Advanced Placement Source.

The Calgary Public Library has excellent resources. Check out the Gale Virtual Reference Library for ebooks as well as databases. Sign up for SOLARO practice tests.
