Resource Lists & Advice

Academic Supports/Tutorials

Families are reminded that staff members are available for extra help before and after school, Monday through Thursday. Speak with individual teachers to determine specific times and locations.

Resources

Below is a list of resources that students may find helpful:

  • Learn Alberta Online Reference Center
Use the ORC to access encyclopedias and other academic databases. This will automatically authenticate at school. You will need a username and password to use at home. Ask at the library desk for the codes or your teacher.
  • Calgary Public Library
Stop by the Library and get your free Calgary Public Library Card. Activate your card or set up a new account online. Once you have activated your account check out the teen section. Once you are set up with your membership, you should also inquire about The Alberta Library (TAL) card. This is a great service for AP students. Find out more about TAL cards on the Alberta Library site.
