Band

Welcome to the Fairview School Band Program!

Grade 5/6

All students must take band as a part of the TLC program.  Classes will meet daily for one trimester.  Fifth grade students will be introduced to band through the exploration both a brass and woodwind instrument.  Sixth grade students will focus their studies on a single brass, woodwind instrument or as a part of the percussion section.

Both grades will have the opportunity to work with professional musicians and put on a concert to showcase their learning at the conclusion of their trimester.
